Identifying risks in recognizable worksite situations
Using a large safety search illustration, participants actively looked for hidden risks. They identified hazards, discussed potential consequences, and formulated concrete preventive actions. This exercise sharpened safety awareness and trained employees to recognize risks more quickly in their own work environment.
From rules to choices on the work floor
Using interactive action cards focused on LMRA, work permits, and critical situations such as working at height, chemical products, and grinding activities, participants reflected on their decisions. Depending on the situation, they had to indicate the correct answers, provide short explanations, complete missing elements, or choose an appropriate action. This varied approach made it clear how small choices and considerations can make a big difference for safety.
Visualize, discuss, and remember
During the sessions, participants created a Safety Sketch in groups using a cut-out sheet with various elements. By building situations together, discussing safe and unsafe choices, and explaining their sketch, a strong dialogue around risks and prevention emerged. This active working method helped teams not only understand safety, but also better remember and apply it.
