The client’s request

IGW is a manufacturer of top-quality gears and prismatic components. Their commitment to continuous optimisation is evident in their production, but they are also ambitious in the area of wellbeing. DENKie has been deployed as a link in this story to raise awareness among their employees. A project we are only too happy to support!

Our solution

Following a workshop on safety culture, DENKie began working on IGW’s branding and wellbeing narrative. We created a campaign focused on various areas that are of great importance to employees. We were also responsible for the visibility of the campaign, ensuring that the communication could be found throughout the company.

Micro as the driving force behind the campaigns

The Mascot Micro is working hard to create a pleasant working environment together with the IGW team. He gives employees useful tips and tricks about wellbeing at work. Together with his friends Ilse, Gert and Wassim, he is fully committed to clear and enjoyable communication.

Gear up safety!

Thanks to the creation of an animated video, we are giving extra emphasis to the slogan “Gear up safety!”. Think of inspiring examples related to the various focus areas. The IGW house also comes into the picture. A virtual house that represents the values, vision and goals of IGW.

Kick-off poster

Posters promoted the campaign in an accessible way within the company. The QR code contains a direct link to the safety campaign. Simple and clear!

Life-size signs

The life-sized signs were also a must. Micro, Ilse, Gert and Wassim are ready to help everyone discover the wellbeing campaign.

Prevention is better than cure

The launch campaign was followed by an awareness campaign about cuts. Because preventing cuts is better than treating them! The importance of safety gloves and a tidy working environment are highlighted. This will ensure that employees can work safely and return home without injuries. Because safety and wellbeing are always important, IGW has also opted for a quarterly campaign. So there are more DENKie campaigns for IGW in progress!

User-friendly training platform

IGW can count on DENKie to convey safety messages in an interesting way. The various animated videos on preventing cuts, avoiding trips and falls, and topics such as ergonomics are bundled on the DENKie training platform, fully personalised for IGW. Here, employees can watch the videos and take a short quiz. Once they have passed, they receive their certificate. Simple and efficient!

Bingo with a message

Working ergonomically can prevent a lot of physical complaints. At IGW, they also consider correct posture to be very important, so they came up with a fun nudge to get the message across to employees. With the slogan “Ergonomic working, that’s how you score!”, the bingo campaign was launched. For a whole month, nine different posters were hung up in the canteen. Each poster contained tips on ergonomics, as well as a number that could be filled in on the campaign card. Those who collected all the numbers had a chance to win a nice prize. This is how we succeeded in our goal: getting office workers out of their chairs, not letting them have lunch at their desks, but encouraging them to move to the canteen to have a pleasant lunch with their colleagues. Not only good for the back, but also good for the atmosphere!

“We started using DENKie this year to increase safety awareness within the organisation, and we are delighted with the results! The animations show recognisable situations in the workplace and are accessible, which is why we have decided to continue next year and expand with the training platform. The DENKie team is professional and fun to work with.” – Ives Deceuninck, IGW
