The client’s request

Inex, a leading player in the dairy sector, wanted to raise awareness of workplace safety. Not with traditional posters or instructions, but in an interactive and engaging way. To achieve this, Inex enlisted DENKie to develop engaging Safety Games.

Our solution

Together with Inex, we identified the safety topics. Then we developed three interactive Safety Games. The games bring the safety topics to life in an accessible yet effective way.

Action card in 3 languages

To ensure the Safety Games ran smoothly, we compiled all the tasks on a handy A5 action card. Inex chose to show the tasks on screen during the Safety Games, but the visuals can also be accessed via QR codes if necessary. Because safety knows no language barriers, we produced the action card in three languages: Dutch, French and English.

Safety topics as a game

The three interactive games addressed three topics we identified together with Inex. To begin, employees were given a puzzle game with situations related to not (correctly) wearing PPE. The challenge? Match the hazard to the correct PPE. Then, they could crack the code by correctly answering questions about working safely with chemical products. The safety games concluded with a video and quiz about “Do not reach into moving machinery.” Participants also had a chance to win a foam fire extinguisher.
