The client’s request

As a strong international player in the steel industry, Joris Ide has a presence in more than 15 countries. Numerous transporters drive onto the site to load and unload their trucks. This requires clear instructions and safety regulations in multiple languages to ensure that the process runs smoothly. Joris Ide called on the services of DENKie to present the safety rules in a creative but clear manner.

Our solution

Thanks to the creation of 2D animated videos, DENKie has a rock-solid concept that meets the needs of Joris Ide. Transporters watch the video and learn the instructions for correctly loading and unloading their lorries. To reflect the international nature of the company, we produce the videos in several languages.

A safe loading process

Transporters who have registered at the Joris Ide counter are shown a DENKie video explaining the safety rules and the loading process. After watching the video and completing the quiz, transporters are granted access to the site. DENKie summarised the instructions in a clear manner, supported by animations that make it easy to understand.

Unloading as it should be done

Not only was the loading of the lorry shown, but also the unloading of coils. DENKie’s goal remained the same: to provide clear instructions in a pleasant manner without losing sight of the message.

Welkom, bienvenue, benvenuto

Joris Ide welcomes transporters and partners from various countries. Showing the instructional videos only in Dutch could cause confusion for non-Dutch speakers. That is precisely what we want to avoid. DENKie therefore provided translations into French, Italian, English, Turkish, Hungarian and Croatian, among other languages. An international approach for an international company!
