Mascot and characters
To clearly illustrate the safety instructions, we created a mascot and characters for Kemin. The mascot is a friendly lab technician whose appearance prevents him from representing a specific person. This way, the mascot remains neutral. The characters represent Kemin employees, contractors, or transporters. They enhance the recognizability and clearly illustrate the instructions.
Instructions for transporters
Transporters from all over the world visit Kemin to load or unload goods. To ensure that this process runs smoothly and safely, DENKie created instructional videos highlighting the most important points for each type of product. For example, transporters are shown what personal protective equipment (PPE) they need to wear and how the loading/unloading procedure works. Contractors and visitors also receive bite-sized guidelines for their presence at Kemin. The result? Nine different instructional videos, tailored to each target group!
Welkom, bun venit, benvenuto!
As an international company, Kemin welcomes many foreign-language speakers to its site. For this reason, there was a request to provide the instructional videos in 15 languages. The access platform was set up in the requested languages and the translated videos were added to it, along with accompanying quizzes. Each transporter, contractor or visitor selects the desired language on the platform, watches the video, takes the quiz and, if successful, receives the access certificate to enter the site. The certificate remains valid for a predetermined period, so that knowledge needs to be refreshed regularly. Kemin itself can easily monitor registrations and certificates via the access platform management system. This makes it user-friendly for both the external party entering the site and for Kemin.
