The Pauligians
Using characters and/or mascots in campaigns works. Characters are the common thread throughout campaigns and are neutral enough for employees to recognize themselves in them. For Paulig, we created the “Pauligians” entirely in Paulig workwear. They feature in the safety games and safety campaigns.
The Safety Games in 8 languages
On the 28th of April 2025, Paulig’s Safety Day took place across 13 countries. To boost interactivity and bring safety to employees in a playful way, we developed the Safety Games in 8 languages. The different games come together on one action card, where participants can fill in their answers. QR codes allow the visuals to be explored in detail. Within the Train the Trainer approach, we provided a clear manual that gave the Safety Day leads at the various sites the necessary guidelines to create maximum impact before, during, and after the event.
Interactive safety games
The 4 interactive safety games were customized based on self-selected topics. We started with a video and quiz about road safety, both on public roads and on company premises. Participants then searched for 10 risks on a puzzle image and matched them to the correct solution. Next came the “Crack the Code” section, which focused on safe interventions and the crucial importance of the LOTOTO principle. Finally, we brought the theme of food safety to life in a fresh way by combining a video and a puzzle. We also provided visuals for each game’s results to display within the company afterward as a recap and refresher. Check out the video!
STOP-THINK-ACT principle
Paulig also engaged DENKie for a safety campaign based on the STOP-THINK-ACT principle. In two animated videos (one short and one extended), we clearly explain the principle and illustrate some recognizable examples at Paulig. This principle was also incorporated into the safety games and is the common thread running through every campaign we develop for Paulig.
