The client’s request

After the successful employer branding by DENK!, Brabo also called on DENKie. The goal? To increase safety within the port company and encourage employees to dock safely. Everyone on board for a safe Port of Antwerp!

Our solution

For DENKie, the key points were immediately clear. We launched safety branding featuring the already well-known mascots Mario and Marit. This led to all sorts of inspiring campaigns under the motto “More safety.”

Workshop wizards

In a creative workshop with our internal communication experts, we explored the various options. We visualised the ways in which we could work towards a safer Brabo and a safer port.

More safe with Mario and Marit

The DENKie team developed a complete branding for Brabo. Mascots Mario and Marit, already well established, guided the Brabo employees through various safety topics. Under the name ‘Meer veilig’ (‘More Safety’), we carried out numerous HR and HSE campaigns.

Own employees in the spotlight

We also provided photography for fun images for numerous visuals. Among the employees, Brabo found some brave and very enthusiastic models who were more than happy to reinforce the recognisability of the safety campaigns.

Informational campaigns

Brabo wanted to highlight a different safety campaign every quarter. For example, Slip & Trip highlighted the dangers of fall incidents using a variety of tools, from training videos and tests to visuals. The importance of Channel 63, the port’s reporting channel, also received extra attention. All key elements for a safer Brabo!
