The client’s request

Volvo was looking for a partner to collaborate with their internal prevention team to launch a well-being campaign. Reaching some 6,500 employees with information about safety and health at work is no easy feat. With DENKie, we weren’t new to the challenge, so we were more than happy to take on the challenge!

Our solution

We’re overseeing Volvo’s well-being campaign for three years. Each quarter, we develop a campaign focused on one of five key themes: occupational safety, health, psychosocial issues, ergonomics, and occupational hygiene. The campaigns include animated videos with tips and tricks, as well as additional communications throughout the company. Mascot Crossie and his friends Harri and Naomi lead the way!

On the road with Crossie, Harri & Naomi

The Volvo safety cross was the inspiration for mascot Crossie. The cross includes the five main themes surrounding safety. Is the entire cross colored in at the end of the day? Then the safety plan has been successful! Crossie is assisted in communication by Harri & Naomi. This cool trio plays the leading role in the videos and together they are the ultimate advisors!

Triggering animation videos

Every quarter we create animated videos that highlight a specific theme. The video contains concrete examples and numerous tips & tricks. Always easy to understand and clear for all employees. Video was also an ideal tool for the launch of the wellbeing campaign. It introduces our mascot trio and immediately gives employees some clear tips they can work with.

Nice communication tools as a support

Within Volvo’s working environment, safety is paramount. Fun visuals remind employees about healthy eating and ergonomic work posture, while screens keep them up to date with the current topic and related videos. We also support the message with additional communication. From life-sized signs with the mascots to fun gadgets for events and a Crossie key ring with a QR code that leads to the video, anything is possible!
